This report by The Economic and Social Research Institute, published in March 2023, examines migrant integration in Ireland and Northern Ireland. It uses information from national and international surveys as well as a consultation event with migrants, their representative groups, and other key stakeholders.

The data collected compare attitudes toward migrants, migrants' experiences at the border, the demographics of the migrant population, migrant youth well-being and education, and access to services and the labor market, among other factors between Ireland and Northern Ireland.  Finally, the report suggests implications for migrant integration policies based on the research and data analysis.

The report provides a comprehensive account of public attitudes and the political climate towards migrants in both countries and is a valuable resource for anyone seeking a better understanding of immigration in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
