Travel As A New Entrepreneur.
13 January 2014
Take part in Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs and broaden your horizons! It’s not just for students: the programme is open to anyone between the ages of 18 and 65.
If you have less than 3 years of business experience or are planning to start up a business, you could travel as a New Entrepreneur.
If you are a business owner, you could host a new and talented entrepreneur from another country.
How does it work?
- New Entrepreneurs may travel to another European country* for a work placement in a company of their choosing. Placements usually last one to three months, and are supported by grant payments of up to €1,100 per month. Click here for a table of grant aid available per country.
- Host Entrepreneurs will be the owner or manager of an Irish SME** willing to share their knowledge and experience with a new entrepreneur and act as a mentor. Taking on someone from another European country for a short work placement will not cost the Host Entrepreneur, as the New Entrepreneur will be paid their monthly grant allowance for the duration of their stay.
