New arrangements have been announced by the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service (INIS) for international students who have spent more than 7-years studying in Ireland.
New arrangements will permit students who have spent more than 7-years studying here to apply for an extension to remain in the country under certain conditions.
The Regulations will initially allow students to stay for a two-year probationary period during which family re-unification cannot be applied for.
