New immigration guidelines for foreign national victims of domestic violence on how to obtain independent immigration status from perpetrators of abuse. New guidelines published by Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service explain the procedure by which a victim of domestic violence whose relationship has broken down can apply for independent immigration permission in his/her own right.
In order to have an application considered, a number of supporting documentation must accompany each application.
