Intercultural Family Day, 1st of July 2017
01 July 2017
New Communities Partnership organised its annual Intercultural Family Day on the 1st of July 2017 in Drimnagh Castle, to celebrate diversity and the great contribution that our members have had with the organisation over the years.
This was a magical and fun day for families, with 150 adults and children who enjoyed cultural games, dance competition, African fashion show, face painting, ballons show, music and much more.
The main stars of the day were our wonderful groups MIND Ireland, Peruvian Dance Club, Integration of All Children in Ireland (IACI), Venezuelan Community in Ireland, Romanian Community of Ireland, who shared their cultural dances and traditions with us. It was inspiring to see all the different costumes, music and colours from all over the world.
Thanks to all families who came along, to our groups members, to our wonderful volunteers & NCP team for sharing this day with us and making it possible.
Big thanks to our photographer Gustavo Leal Photography, Air Toys / Jucarii din Aer for their ballons show, DJ Raspizo Official entertainment for the great music, Party Food 4U for the lovely food and to Drimnagh Castle for hosting us.
This event was supported by Department of Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government , Pobal, Dublin City Council, and Dublin City Community Co-operative through Scheme to Support National Organisations 2016-2019 and Social Inclusion & Community Activation Programme 2015 - 2017
